Nominations are open for the Stena Line Propeller Prize 2020, under which the ferry operator will select two young growth companies within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Maritime technology areas for an investment of 100 000 SEK each.

The winners will be announced on May 7 in Karlskrona, Sweden. The Stena Line Propeller Prize has been awarded annually since 2015 to young companies in the ICT and maritime technology arena from countries around the Baltic Sea. The prize recognises companies who use technology to become more sustainable and that fits with the company's vision 'Connecting Europe for a Sustainable Future'.

“Stena Line believes in the Baltic region. This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary in on the Karlskrona-Gdynia route but we also operate several routes from Latvia, Germany and Scandinavia. To strengthen the region further, we need more innovative companies and partnerships across the borders and therefore we welcome applicants from all countries in the Baltic Sea area this year," said Erik Lewenhaupt, Head of Sustainability, Brand & Communication, Stena Line.

Nominations should be made at by 7 April.
