Danish shipping company DFDS has appointed Rune Keldsen as Chief Technology Officer and member of the Executive Management Team with responsibility for the digital and IT organisations.

He was previously Chief Digital Officer of the Nuuday Group (TDC). Keldsen has a Masster’s degree specialising in IT from Copenhagen Business School, and previously worked at ScanJour (now part of KMD) and the Media-Saturn Group.

Torben Carlsen, CEO DFDS, says: “I very much look forward to welcoming Rune to DFDS. He will lead our work to take our digital transformation to the next level and make our IT and Digital organisation an even more important contributor to the success of DFDS and our strategy.”
