CORROSION AND COATINGS BODIES UNITE AS AMPP
Friday, January 8, 2021
Following a member consultation and appointment of a new board, NACE International, formerly known as the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, and SSPC (the Society for Protective Coatings) have finalised the process of joining forces under the brand AMPP - the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.
AMPP says it exists to serve the global membership of corrosion control and protective coatings professionals, becoming stronger together in advancing the future of materials protection and performance. AMPP brings together the services, products, benefits, and practices of NACE and SSPC to provide its combined membership with access to content and publications along with an expanded professional network.
"After a combined 145 years of service to our members and the corrosion and coatings profession and industry, we look forward to many more years of progress and success," says an AMPP statement.
