Following the successful launch of the C32B 2025 mhp engine, Caterpillar Marine has announced the release of a higher-output version, the Cat C32B Triple Turbo rated at up to 2433 mhp (2400 bhp) at 2300 rpm.

Compared to the C32B 2025 model, the new engine has an updated cooling system and a new sequential (three turbo) air system that delivers faster response and better performance. Additional options include extended oil change intervals, full MCS certification, including duplex filtration, and a cosmetic engine cover.

“We are extremely excited to build on our recent introduction of the C32B by bringing even more power density to the industry with our best-in-class V12 engine. The C32B Triple Turbo engine will be a difference-maker for the high-performance marine segment, both in power and performance.  We’re thrilled to work with our customers, dealers, and builders to deliver this outstanding product.” said Allen Bowman, Caterpillar Marine Product Strategy Lead for C32.

The C32B Triple Turbo complies with EPA Tier 3 and IMO II emissions regulations, with the option of a fully integrated SCR solution for IMO Tier III.
